How Our Low-Cost Dog Spay & Neuter Clinics Work

Seguin Snips Squad announces upcoming surgery dates 6-8 weeks ahead of time, giving ample time for preparation. We'll then reveal the venue, schedule, and drop-off details. Pet parents are welcome to submit applications at anytime for upcoming clinics. Applications are reviewed and prioritized based on submission order to ensure fairness. Our funds subsidize the cost based on household income and other allowed discounts. If approved, you'll hear directly from us with your pet's customized fee and a link for payment options. After completing payment, expect your confirmed appointment slot. Appointment spots fill on a first-paid, first-served basis until capacity is reached, helping us maximize impact for responsible pet ownership in our community.

At Seguin Snips Squad, we are dedicated to ending the over population crisis. Every dog we perform a surgery on will receive a rabies vaccine and a microchip if they do not already have them. These vital steps ensure the safety and well-being of each dog. We believe that every dog deserves a chance at a healthy life, and the opportunity to be located if lost. We make that possible through these non-negotiable additional services during each procedure. We can confidently say every dog we touch will be chipped and registered + have an up to date rabies vaccine at the time of service.

We believe in paying it back to our local shelter. We want to drive local adoptions & encourage responsible pet ownership.

We provide monthly vouchers for animal protection officers to hand out at reclaims or when out on calls when dogs are unaltered.

Health Benefits
Spayed female dogs are less likely to develop mammary cancer, which can be lethal. This is the most common type of tumor in female dogs. -United Spay Alliance

Neutering eliminates the risk of testicular cancer in male dogs. It also eliminates the risk of BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy), a painful condition that is eventually evidenced in nearly all intact male dogs.
